MCCAIN CHATS WITH THE LADIES OF ‘THE VIEW’

John McCain gets grilled about his choice of Sarah Palin for VP

John McCain hit up The View today, and they discussed various topics, ranging from Sarah Palin to their houses to the separation of church and state.

First, resident Republican Elisabeth Hasselbeck asked McCain if he planned to try to get Roe V. Wade overturned.

After some political word-peddling, he answered: “I believe Roe v. Wade was a very bad decision.” If president, he would appoint Supreme Court justices who “strictly interpret” and “enforce” the Constitution. (In other words, kiss your ovaries goodbye, ladies!)

Next, Whoopi Goldberg chimed in saying, “Do I have to be worried about becoming a slave again?” (reminding that the Constitution made slaves three-fifths a person)… “because certain things happened in the Constitution that had to change.”

After a few laughs, McCain went on to clarify his position, saying, “I believe life begins at conception, but I respect the views of those who don’t.”

For some comic relief, he vowed to appoint Democrats and independents to his administration, saying I’ll appoint Joy (Behar) to be the director of communications.”

Finally — someone with experience!

Breaking news: Cindy McCain got a bunch of people fired to hide the fact that the DEA was investigating her for prescription drug abuse in the 1989. She was addicted for three years and hid it from her husband for a while. These people are so currupt it is disgusting.

Sarah Palin knows nothing of international policy. She prooved that last night. Bring on the debate between her and Biden. He will wipe the floor with her stupid ass comments.

I have a friend who was raped and I can’t imagine what she would have done if she had to keep the baby! McCain and Palin are SCARY for not just women’s rights but the advancement of this country.

McCain struggles with sensitive abortion question
    By Jonathan Karl/CNN

    January 26, 2000
Web posted at: 1:19 p.m. EST (1819 GMT)

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire (CNN) — Republican presidential candidate John McCain, when asked Wednesday what he would do if his 15-year-old daughter Meghan became pregnant and wanted an abortion, said it would be a “family decision.”

“The final decision would be made by Meghan with our advice and counsel,” McCain said, speaking of himself and his wife Cindy.

“I would discuss this issue with Cindy and Meghan, and this would be a private decision that we would share within our family and not with anyone else,” McCain told reporters in New Hampshire on board his campaign bus nicknamed “The Straight Talk Express. “Obviously I would encourage her to bring, to know that baby would be brought up in a warm and loving family, but the final decision would be made by Meghan with our advice and counsel.”

Obama should make a new comment today about putting lipstick on four pigs for all the world to View.

Talk about throwing a pearl ‘McCains’ into a pig-sty ‘The View’.

McCain is a straight talker. The Pigs on the View are real oikers.

Still. putting lipstick in Bahar, Walters, Goldberg, et.al. excluding Hasselback, still makes them useless sows.

    Read and ponder.

    Barrak Obama:

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.’

From Dreams of My Father : ‘I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.’

From Dreams of My Father: ‘I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn’t speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa , that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.’

And FINALLY the Most Damming one of ALL of them!!!

From Audacity of Hope: ‘I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.’

According to Chicago Police/Incident report 93-03965 dated February 17, 1993:Then Chicago Sun times editor Spectorsky returned to his car approximately 11:45PM. As he approached his car he became rather perturbed to see one side of his vehicle dented and severly damaged, then he breathed a sigh of relief , as he noticed a figure standing next to his car writing a note. As he arrived next to where the man was standing, the man folded the note and handed it to him, and said all my information is in there, and hurridely ran back to his battered car and sped off. When he opened the note he was immediately shocked. The note read: I have just run in to your car and made a hell of a mess of it. As a few people looked over I decided to appear as if I was writing you a note to apologize and to leave my name, address, and insurance info. As you can see this I have NOT done. Signed, a Well Wisher. He described the man as a black man about 6ft tall and that he drove off in a Mazda 323. About a week later he contacted dectives and told them he was convinced the man he had seen that night was Barack Obama. Strangely, that same week Obama had his Mazda 323 repaired after stating that his wife had scraped a concrete poll at the mall. Even more strangely, within days of Spectorsky’s positive identification of Obama, he called dectives and told them he was “mistaken.” A simple coincidence or a covered up story? You decide.

ovaries! fetus, cluster of cells, parasite, cell tissue, zygote, ‘MY BODY,’ ‘MY WOMB.’ ‘rapists leftovers.’
most of you know i’m pro-choice, but let’s be real here. there’s a reason abortion patients won’t watch an ultrasound.
btw, the right to kill a fetus is tied to the right to privacy. that’s what mccain is talking about. and i’d bet he’d like to see it as a federalized issue.

Okay, first off I saw the interview today and that was not all that was said, when Cindy came out she said that they are for abortions for rape, incest or the life of the mother is in danger. But, not just for people to use as birth control. I read today that up to 40% of all women who suffer from sever nausea and vomiting when they are pregnant abort the baby, what the hell, something needs to be put into place to protect these children. When I was six weeks pregnant, I had an ultra sound and the heart was beating at 138 beats a minute, you mean to tell me that isn’t life? Also, most women unless they are trying to get pregant don’t even know they are pregnant until then, I was only 1 week and like 5 days late. This is life. Abortion causes horrible emontional problems for young girls they need to be taught to abstain first and birth control second. After all to abstain is the only thing that works 100%. I mean with HIV and everything else out there they need to know what sex involves. Education, not a easy bail out!

Wonderbar - I agree with you.

Me - That is your viewpoint, and everyone is allowed to have their own viewpoints. The debate is over giving WOMEN the choice over their LIFE! Nobody can tell a person they HAVE to keep the baby. And if those statistics are true, which they are totally not, then its NONE of your business why they had it, ist better then sending the kid into social services, or having a mother that’s not ready party during the pregnancy and end up with birth defects. Maybe instead of making up statistics, you should go to http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/abortion/abreasons.html

The highest percentage for reasons for abortion was “unready for responsibility”
Do you honestly believe if somebody is unready for the pregnancy they are going to give the fetus what it needs to be a healthy baby? The answer is no.

Maybe you enjoy the government taking your rights away, but I personally do not. We have fought TOO HARD and TOO LONG to let it be taken away by ignorant religious manics. Not everyone in the states is religious, so why should we all be treated as such? Isn’t this supposed to be a country of freedom? Well its not if this goes through. Maybe you should learn to be more tolerant on other peoples opinions, you can have your own but don’t tell people what you think is right for them, because you will NEVER know what is right for anybody else but yourself.

And to the anti-abortion person who posted above; you’re making the mistake of assuming other people experience abortion the same way you did. I know women who have had abortions who feel grateful to have had that option. These women are not sad or depressed, and none of them regret theri decision. In fact, because they were not saddled down with a kid they didn’t want, they were able to finish school and get good jobs. Some of them have kids now and they are excellent mothers. They waited until they were educated, married, and could provide a stable home.

#34, I am so sorry for you. It is a decision that you made and you have to forgive yourself. Megan, go to babyzone.com and look there for the artical on morning sickness. Also, what about the babies choice, there is adoption, you don’t have to keep the baby, but you don’t have to kill it either. There are tons of couples, lots of gay ones now that would love to put that baby in a loving home. Have you ever seen the move silent scream, it shows abortions at all different stages and the baby, you know the one with the same heart beat you have, was seen crying out in pain. It is horrible. That isn’t a choice to me, your choice was to have sex or not! Sorry. There as so many options to prevent pregnance! Use them, that is your choice, not killing your own flesh and blood. Get off your high horse on womens choice, you have at least 50 ways to prevent getting pregnant. Also, I wouldn’t vote for or not vote for a canidate based on weather or not they are for sex education in schools, although I am for it, if the parents approve. But, I still feel that as a parent, it is my job to teach my child how to be safe. I know I wasn’t a pure when I got married, but, I have emotional effects of having sex before I was ready. I wish with all my heart I would have waited! But, I made that choice and I got pregnant at 19, and I love my child with all my heart! I have done my best to take care of her and to teach her about sex and abstaning and remaining pure, but we also discuss, birth control, and HIV and that that comes with the choice of waiting or not waiting, so I guess in some sense I am pro-choice. You chose to have sex you chose the baby, the chance of an STD and all that comes with it!

Nothing like a good fishing expedition/witch hunt to try to blacken a candidate’s image. Remember how loudly the Democrats complained when Ken Starr was “investigating” Bill Clinton. I guess it’s OK when they do it, though.

I think the Democrats and Liberals biggest complaint against Palin is only that she’s not a Democrat. Change her party affiliation and they’d be falling all over themselves to praise her. The lowest point for McCain when he defended his dishonest ads by blaming Obama for not doing town hall style events. Is he serious? How sad is it that the toughest questions he’s been asked this entire election season is by the women of The View? He very explicitly said that he favors strict construction of The Constitution and a such he would appoint justices like Thomas, Scalia, Roberts, and Alito. Goodbye reproductive rights and goodbye civil liberties. Hello deregulation (remember the mortgage crisis). He fully intends to overturn Roe v. Wade. He said he thinks it is bad law and it is a states rights issue. That is political code for the end of Roe v. Wade. It doesn’t matter what Cindy’s opinions on abortion are, she’s not running for President. And there is a video of Sarah Palin saying explicitly during the gubernatorial debate in 2006 that she favors the complete banning of abortions even in cases of rape and incest. The statistics are horrifying about the number of women and girls raped every day in this country and if you believe that they should be forced to carry the children of their rapists or their relatives, well vote for McCain/Palin but stop telling the rest of us that he didn’t really mean it. He does mean it. The maverick of 2000 is long gone and he has sold his soul to the extremists on the right.

It’s a woman’s body, and thus HER choice. Taking away this right is disregarding the rights we, as women, have. It’s true, abortion is definitely a moral issue; however, not everyone is in the same position to care for and take care of a baby…not everyone comes from a stable, supportive family. In fact, some women didn’t even have the choice to say no to sex (because of being raped). Think of it in these womens’ perspectives; why the HELL should they be responsible for the product of one of the most horrifying crimes NO woman should ever experience? Additionally, not everyone has the same morals…morality is one of those things that is extremely subjective…not everyone considers life to start at the moment of conception. Regardless, the OPTION should still exist–especially during special circumstances, such as rape. And in regards to people claiming that pregnant women should give their children to adoption agencies (post 40)–there are already MILLIONS of children waiting to be adopted…we are not by ANY means short of orphans.
