Considering her new country album, Come On Over, drops today, it’s no surprise to see Jessica Simpson making the media rounds.
Minutes after waking the country up with a performance on Good Morning America, the country music-singing star headed straight over to The Early Show where she did it all over again. Staying true to her southern roots, Jessica looked like the girl we all wished lived next door in a floral frock.
Meanwhile, skeptics continue to criticize J.Simp’s transitional pop-to-country music album.

There’s nothing that distinguishes her voice or her musical direction from other country newcomers. At her best, as on the ballad “Still Don’t Stop Me,” Simpson suggests she has potential to be a more singular artist than she’s yet proven. But from the first hit, “Come On Over,” to the religious-based “Pray Out Loud” to the love song to her quarterback boyfriend, “You’re My Sunday,” there’s little on Simpson’s down-home transition to propose she is ready to compete creatively or commercially with Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift.

Okay I don’t agree with everyone thinking she looks fat. There is a different of being fat and putting on weight. I’m sure if you calculate her BMI she would be below normal.
And does it not seem like she’s trying to cover up since her concert last night (or the night before?) where everyone blasted her for having her boobs hanging all over the place?

The review seems pretty accurate. she is a little better as a country singer but its not that huge of an improvement
no wonder she dated john mayer. th both make the ugliest faces when they sing. is that really necessary?

This country thing is a joke I like jessica but you don’t just become a country singer overnight. Thank goodness she’s pretty.
She’s do anything that will make her money. She’s never really had a pop hit, no one know’s her songs, she’s just famous for being a dumb blonde with big boobs and for being a divorce. Why is her forehead full of wrinkles?
She’s such a fucking poser! I was embarrassed watching her on GMA. Now everything she says/sings has a southern twang. And now she’s dressing all country with floral dresses?!?!?!? It’s all so calculated and contrived that no one will ever take her seriously. She needs to just give up.
