Most men hate to ask for directions. Harrison Ford is no different.
In the October issue of Outside magazine, the Indiana Jones actor says, “I like asking for directions, I find it a little bit frustrating that most people don’t know where they are, or how to give directions anymore. … Why do I like asking for directions? Because, I hate wasting time.â€
Harrison on being recognized in public: “When you’re out of the expected context for famous people, the first reaction is normally, ‘oh no, it’s not—what would he doing here?’ and then if you’re not gone in the next ten minutes, they start investigating their interest. But if you’re moving along and not drawing attention to yourself or sitting around too long, you can pretty much go anywhere. I can.â€Harrison on getting away from it all: “I think you can escape any place where you can have fresh feed for your eyes and brain and a resolve to leave the other crap behind you.â€
Harrison on deciding on a vacation: “I haven’t sat down and thought about where to go. Because, when the time is ripe, I’m hoping that circumstances will help me decide. My ambition is to go places where I’ve never been. And there’s lots of them.â€

I like what he said “you can go anywhere, I can” it’s so true. Yes you have the paps harras you but for the most part they only hang out at like say… the usual spots where all these publicity whores like to hang out and be seen by cameras cause if they don’t they’ll be forgotten since they have nothing else going for them. I think if you don’t want to be seen, you can choose to stay out of the lime light, he’s a big star and he can do it… and the general public are not going to bother you all that much.

Huh? First you say he hates asking for directions, but then he says he likes asking for direction?
