P.Hil is in T.Dot to attend the Toronto International Film Festival. Worry not, however — she’s not acting. She’s on hand to screen Paris, Not France, an alleged documentary on why the world is so fascinated with her.
What can you expect from the 68-minute flick (mixing black-and-white and colour footage, a la Madonna’s much-imitated Truth of Dare)? This snippet from the program description tells all: “We see Paris starting to grow up and taking more control. (Director Adria Petty) inspires her to talk about her life in a way that no other journalist has: the rebellious streak that propelled her into a modelling career, the shock of having her sex life exposed to the world, and the pressures of living under constant media distortions. Paris is by turns seductive and vulnerable, in charge and out of control.”
Mmultiple screenings of the documentary were initially scheduled for the public and the media, but just prior to the opening of the festival it was decided the film would be shown only once. (No doubt in the hope that it would become a very tough ticket).
The strategy did not work all that well apparently. We just received an e-mail reminding us that Paris, Not France still has seats available.

At the end of the day…Paris is a business machine that laughing all the way to the bank. She obviously doesn’t care about any negativity out there and you have to respect that.
The only person fascinated with Paris Hilton is Paris Hilton. I will never respect her, or her machine. Sorry. She’s a waste of space on this earth. Maybe, in my dreamworld & several decades from now, she will realize what a horrible selfish person she has been and do something worthwhile for the world…but I doubt it.
