As the holy land for country music’s most iconic stars, the Grand Ole Opry is a plateau for budding musicians hoping to finally achieve success in the country music genre. Despite negative reviews for her live performances and for her new album, Simpson graced the stage in Nashville in front of a very supportive crowd of fans.
Wearing a black dress and heels, Jessica was backed by a pair of female singers and a seven-piece band that included fiddle, mandolin and steel guitar. The crowd applauded after each song, and as she left the stage, a fan handed her roses.
After dismal sales for her last pop album, Simpson is hoping a transition to country music will garner better results.

she oversings and trys too hard! she is a karaoke singer. there is nothing orignal about her. go away, you ruined your marriage to a good guy. her ego got the best of her.
Just because ole girl is singing country, doesn’t mean she has to look like Dolly Parton circa the eighties.. WTF
That outfit is overkill and she makes singing look painful or something. She has a good voice but she uses it weird and ruins it. I will be surprised if her album debuts in the top 10.
Oh Please….this is just a failed pop song with steel slide guitar and a fiddle to make it a cuntry song……same ol’ thang different package…..she isn’t even a good singer…..mediocre at best……

Jessica always oversings, she has been doing this for years. Think about it, she has never been able to sell records. Except when the first season of Newlyweds was on. Jessica will never be known as a great singer!
God. That was bad. I can’t imagine what it would have sounded like without the backup singers there to smooth her out. She needs to stop jerking her head around like that…it makes her look like someone fresh off the short bus.
I like her, but it also annoys me to see her jerking her head around like that, and also opening up her mouth so wide (very often in pictures). I fear she’d unlock her jaw one day. It’s painful to watch her sometimes.
