It took a year, but Britney Spears’ comeback on the MTV Video Music Awards is finally a reality.
The pop princess nabbed all three VMAs she was nominated for, including Video of the Year, and made triumphant appearance in an atttempt to erase the career-low of last year’s ceremony.
While her highly anticipated appearance on the show proved to be slightly anti-climactic (c’mon, some teleprompter reading and Jonah Hill? Really?), the genuine feeling of happiness exuding from Britney is comeback enough.

POM did not deserve Video Of The Year. Female Video, but that’s it. the video is not good. it could have been, but it wasn’t.
She does look really pretty though. i like the other dress she wore more.

She really does look gorgeous!!! This dress is even hotter than the last one! Her hair and makeup looks amazing, reminds me of some awards show back in like 2002 when she was with Justin and wearing a pink dress…anyone know which one I’m talking about? It’s so awesome that she’s won these awards and tonight will do wonders for her self esteem and hopefully give her that push to get pumped for her new album. It can’t have been easy for her to do this, she had to have been a bit nervous. I thought the skit with Jonah was pretty funny actually, scripted and cheesy but that’s kind of standard for the VMAs. Her intro was a little flat though, but she just sounded kind of nervous when she was reading the lines.

I’m really pulling for Britney but am I the only one who thought the awards were rigged? I mean, did you SEE some of the nominees in each category??? I can think of 1,001 videos that could have been nominated in pop music. Instead I see all these groups that no one has ever heard of. wtf?????? thighmegatampon, you may be right about MTV trying to make amends.

She did look great, but she has worn a version of that dress at least 5 times before. I also think she did not deserve those awards. The songs may have been good, but the video SUCKED ASS, and this is an award for the video. I think they were kissing her ass for fucking her over last year.

I love britney but I have to agree she did not deserve three awards for a album she didn’t even promote seriously” piece of me” was a ok video and song. MTV had this all set up for publicity ” her big comeback” but she looked pretty.
VMA’s = MTV’s Kiss Britney’s Ass Awards……. if I believed that she had enough money, I’d think she paid them off….. but I don’t….
