Britney Spears’ Piece of Me toppled the No. 1 single of the summer, Katy Perry’s I Kissed A Girl, taking home Best Female Video at tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.
Looking drop dead sexy in a silver mini-dress, the comeback princess thanked God, her fans and her two little boys at home “who keep inspiring me every day.”
Brit-Brit was cheered on by her recently re-hired manager Larry Rudolph, the man responsible for her meteoric rise to fame as a teenager.
Miss Spears starred in a short comedy sketch with Superbad actor Jonah Hill, before being filmed walking from her dressing room to the stage to introduce the ceremony.
Walking on stage, she received a standing ovation from the crowd. We nearly cried.

Holy crap so looks fucking amazing!! She seriously looks like she did back in like 2002! Her hair and makeup is the best it’s looked in ages, her body is banging, the dress is gorgeous and she won her award! She must be one happy girl today!! I think this time she’s definately back! Sooo happy for her!
She does look good don’t get me wrong but she does not look like the old brit! It makes me wonder how much of her win had more to do with ratings or than her actually deserving the award!
Forget about the hair, makeup and clothes (which look great). The girl looks HAPPY. And it’s a substantive happiness that seems to be coming from within and from making peace with herself. Hope she holds on to it. Show ‘em girl.

Please she’s not back, this is the VMA’s i’m sorry but it doesn’t mean shit to win a moonman nowadays. Rihanna won big last year for that awful song, and she doesn’t get taken seriously. I believe Britney is getting better and that’s good but she ain’t never going to be 17 again.
