It was ballooning belly first for Ashlee Simpson as the mum-to-be waddled her way down the red carpet at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles today.
She added that in looking for dresses she realized, “You have to pick ones that don’t stick to your belly.”
When told she looked beautiful by pre-show host Taylor Swift, the Alexander McQueen-clad lip songstress said: “It’s the three Bs - the boobs, the belly and the booty.”
She went on to offer a few tips on showing up at an award show when pregnant: You have to “pick a dress that doesn’t stick to your stomach.”‘

I think she looks great. Stop with the “waddling” insults Arasto. She’s fucking pregnant, and she’s not even that big. Sheesh.
She looks gorgeous! She’s glowing and she really doesn’t look hugely pregnant to me. It’s good to see she’s still going to events and everything and not letting some of the stupidly harsh comments get to her.
That’s seriously insulting. She’s pregnant for crying out loud.
