Christina Aguilera was typically overdone as she arrived at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles today.
The modern-day Cher will perform her newest single Keeps Getting Better, off her upcoming greatest hits album by the same name.
Xtina said it was “amazing” to be out for the night at the VMAs. And how was baby Max? “He’s at home in good hands, while Mommy does her thing,” she said on the red carpet pre-show.

I think she looks insanely hot!! Love the blonde hair and the hair cut really suits her. Finally she appears to be changing up her look!! No red lipstick in sight! This kind of makeup looks so much better and makes her look a lot younger. The dress is really sexy as well, this is the best I’ve seen Xtina look in years!! Best dressed so far!
I am not liking the dress, but I do like the change in the hair and makeup…….overall, a thumbs up.

She’s totally channeling Donatella Versace here. And that is NOT a good thing, under any circumstances!
That hair is just horrible–dyed a crispy blonde and fried flat. Her eye makeup turns her eyes into narrow slits, like she’s perpetually squinting. And that gown is just the last word in trailer-park glamor.
She is a train wreck here. Could she possibly develop a style of her own–one that isn’t derivative of whatever celeb she’s currently enamored of?
