American swimmer Michael Phelps was seen partying with a bunch of guys and girls at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas last night.
With booze in hand, the shirtless athlete was spotted chatting it up with a bunch of admirers before escaping to his VIP cabana where he and his crew watched on at a safe distance.
For Michael, it appears he’s enjoying the transition from being the greatest athlete in the world to celebrity eye candy.
The gossip question of the hour is whether or not Michael, who broke a gold-medal record at the Beijing Games this summer, is involved romantically with anyone.
In a recent interview, he reminded fans, “I never said I have a girlfriend, and I never said I don’t have a girlfriend. My public and private life are separate. I keep my private life to myself.”
He is most lately rumoured to be dating a former Miss California runner-up, Nicole Johnson.
As Phelps moves more and more quickly onto the Hollywood scene, though, it will become increasingly harder for him to keep certain secrets.
The Olympic golden boy will host the September 12 season premiere of Saturday Night Live, in addition to making a cameo appearance on HBO’s Entourage.

If I was a guy, I’d keep my shirt on next to the specimen that is Phelps. How could you look anything but frumpy next to him? His face is meh but his personality and bod more than make up for it.

I’m sorry but I really don’t find him attractive. Hot body but that’s about it. He seems like a nice enough guy though and definately a champion in the pool! It’s crazy how much attention these Olympians get just after the Games, the buzz is all around them for a while but in a couple months time they will just be back training again for the next thing.
FYI, mom mom’s friend won a mustang on The Price is Right back in the 80s. So just take it easy on the get well wishes if you know what I mean. That’s what video games are for.
I wish I could swim 1/10th as good as he does. All I can do is the dog paddle. Sigh :o(.
