Hugh Jackman hosted the Fight Cancer Foundation’s Red Ball in Melbourne, Australia last night.
The black-tie dinner was held at the Crown Palladium and it was without a doubt one of the hottest fundraising tickets in town.
The Hollywood hunk co-hosted the event with his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness.
The couple are patrons of the Fight Cancer Foundation, which is the new marketing arm of the Bone Marrow Donor Institute. One of the night’s key auction items was the chance to attend the L.A. premiere of Hugh’s latest film, Australia.

He looks so handsom in a tux and his wife is looking pretty here as well! Nice family.
It’s nice to see a male hollywood celebrity with a woman his own age- it’s sad that it’s surprising.
Attractive couple. She looks very good here.
Sophia,
Hugh is almost 40 and his wife Deb is 53! I love a man who can appreciate an older woman (since I’m also 53!)
Mh, accoding t IMBD she is born in 1960, makes her either 47 or 48. not that I disagree at all, Nancy.
It’s so sweet of Hugh to take his dear old mum to the ball.
Oh wait–you mean that’s not his mother? Oopsie!
Not really an attractive gal at all. She’d benefit so enormously from a stylist…
I hate to say it but I think she looks like his mother as well. She definately looks a lot older than him, maybe it’s all the makeup and stuff though. I think Hugh seems like a wonderful guy and you can tell he adores his family. That’s all that matters.
Hugh seems like the ideal man (for me)! Great, open smile… active guy, super handsome, hot body, attentive dad (and husband), among other things. Melt.
I now both of them and I can tell you that they are a perfect couple, whom love their children and each other. More than I can say about most other celebrity couples these days. To comment no 6, you must be a very shallow person, I feel extremely sorry for you. Deb has more spunk than most people I know
# 10. Oh, how simply charming that you know the Jackman’s! Then perhaps you’ll lend Deborah a clue and tell her to step up to the plate and get herself properly styled! Does she actually take pride in looking old enough to be Hugh’s mum?
She certainly has the time and resources to look much, much better than she does. I can’t figure out why she doesn’t have the pride or backbone to do so. Good god, if you were married to one of the handsomest men on earth, wouldn’t you try your damnedest to be beautiful for him? And for YOURSELF?
Too bad her “spunk” as you call it doesn’t translate to a commitment to looking as good as she possibly can.
