A typically glum Katie Holmes moped her way to rehearsal today at the Minetta Lane Theatre in Downtown Manhattan for her Broadway debut of Arthur Miller’s play, All My Sons.
On this day out, the fashion forward actress opted for a sweater over a floral printed shirt and leather boots.
So, what’s behind the frown? Sources say Katie has completely isolated herself since moving to the Big Apple in July.
Gone are the days of shopping sprees with the Beckhams. And one former friend of Katie’s says her newfound antisocial behaviour is nothing new.
“Katie and I were best friends until she met Tom,†the source tells OK!. “Then, overnight, we went from talking every day to nothing. She was so single-minded about her life with him that no one else mattered.â€
Another source agrees, “Katie never had a big group of girlfriends, but after Tom, she stopped calling them. It was amazing she could cut everyone off so fast — business associates, her hair and makeup team, as well as friends.â€
We understand ditching friends and business partners for a man, but saying goodbye to her glam squad? Katie’s more brainwashed than ever thought!

That’s what happens when you marry Tom Cruise…everything else in your life stops and there is nothing you can do about it.
She looks like an old bag lady you see on the streets. I think she is actually scared to talk to anybody about her imprisonment.

Maybe the glum face is in response to stupid comments made by the paparazzi that are camped out waiting for her. I have heard some of the idiotic questions they hurl at someone trying to get some kind of reaction so I can just imagine what they are yelling out at her.
