The Republican National Committee wants to continue the long conservative tradition of withholding information on sex education.
The platform reads: “We support abstinence education and oppose school-based clinics that provide referrals, counseling, and related services for abortion and contraception.”
Considering that Gov. Sarah Palin’s 17-year-old daughter is currently pregnant by a self-described “f*ckin’ redneck”, that statement rings a little ironic.

Sarah Palin has not even been famous for a week yet and already we have learned:
1. She is under investigation for trying to get a cop fired.
2. Her 17 year old daughter is pregnant.
3. She has supported Pat Buchanan.
4. John McCain had only met her twice when he picked her as his VP.
5. Nobody in her state of Alaska was questioned by the McCain people about her qualifications.
6. She has hired a high-powered lawyer to get her cop firing investigation to go away.
7. Before her trip last year to Iraq she never even had a passport, so she has never been to other countries.
8. Her husband has been arrested for DUI.
9. Even though she has a pregnant unmarried 17 year old daughter, she is against teaching teens sex ed.
This does not sound like someone who should be the Vice President of the USA.
