The iconic Beyonce reflects on her fabulousness in the October issue of British Marie Claire.
Beyonce on why she uses her alter ego ‘Sasha’
: “Things I do when I am performing I would never do ‘normally.’ I always wish I could feel the way I do on stage when I’m doing a movie because I have out of body experiences…I’m so fearless.”
Beyonce on who her song ‘Irreplaceable’ is about: “The obvious person is not the person at all.”
Beyonce on being a pop star: “There is a time limit on being a pop star yes, being a legend, an icon, absolutely not. I’m over being a popstar, I don’t wana be a hot girl — I wana be iconic. Black people have never really felt like we belonged here in America, so I totally understand her statement. That shows just how arrogant and self centered some people are. I am glad that two black (assuming you are black ^) people speak on the behalf of all the other blacks. I sometimes feel like I don’t belong…how about this…I took a medical course in which I had to pay cold hard cash for.Black females made up the majority of the course.None of them paid for it (the government) and only about 1/4 of them actually graduated it.All that wasted money on people who feel like they don’t belong.PULEASE!Let’s not turn this into a racial issue here.I have no problems with any race until they playing the poor me victim card!

Beyonce is beautiful and i love her,,, she can talk as much as she wants,, everyone else does,, natural breast have a sag to them and thats how a womens is made, plastic on the other hand is fake and im glad l’oreal didnt get away with slimming her nose and lightening her skin, she is black what the fu*k do you expect, her skin color is gorgeous and the white standard of beauty is not my standard of beauty, and i will definetly never ever buy any L’oreal products. what a racist thing to do! one thing i dont give a damn who doesnt like me i love me and i dont copy no other race! i treasure my big butt and my high cheekbones and my skin color… love it!

Whenever i watch comicview and other BET shows there are damn near just as many whites as blacks… Black people need to get their own awards shows and shows like BET , thats the only damn way they will get recognized.. Samuel L Jackson has played in damn near every film you can name and he doesnt get recognized in the white community like he should, but he does in the black community.. so you tell me what what what what!!!!

There are very few celebs that I just cannot stand and she is one of them. I think everything about her is just sooo fake and nothing that she says or does is genuine at all. Good to know that she thinks she is respected because I personally think she’s just as skanky as the next girl up on stage shaking her ass in costumes that are too tight for her. No matter whether Beyonce wears a thousand dollar gown or a pair of twenty dollar jeans she still looks cheap and nasty in my opinion. Everything she puts on she makes look trashy, and we all know she looks nothing like she does in these pictures. It’s not just a little photoshop to enhance the picture it’s a LOT of photoshop to attempt to enhance the person. All the photoshop in the world could not make Beyonce look better in my eyes.

If you’re going to play God and judge her at least let it be about something she has done wrong. Who made you the beauty critics? She is doing her, simply! Diana Ross did it, Tina Turner did it, Madonna too… leave her alone. I am proud of her, very proud of her because she is being exactly who and what she wants to be. I consider myself an individual and for that reason there is no chip on my shoulder. Leave her the hell alone. Oh and to the person who mentioned something about college and food stamps, STOP HATING. Minorities don’t get food stamps only because they are a minority, most fall in to the income brackets that prove they need assistance. Again stop judging because every one from Jews to Whites benefit from the Gov’t in one way or another. Your human, people! You were born into a race cool…that’s universal.
