Jennifer Aniston was spotted on the set of the hit TV series 30 Rock at Silvercup Studios in Long Island City, NY today filming her guest appearance for next season.
Joined by fellow cast members Tina Fey and Jane Krakowski, the 39-year-old actress was seen having a great time dancing and splashing around in water.
Although very little has been revealed about Aniston’s role on the show, here’s what we know. Jen plays Claire Harper, Tina Fey’s former roommate who shows up in New York and attaches herself to Alec Baldwin. Her character is described as a “free-spirited, Fatal Attraction-like stalker.”
The new season of 30 Rock kicks off October 30.

I think TV is wear she belongs. She doesn’t really have the ability or talent or star power to carry movies! Name me one good Jennifer Aniston movie?

Yeah I have to agree with Franky…She is just not a big screen actress. When you think big screen you think Angelina, Charlize, Gwen, etc. Just really doesn’t have the game.
I love how it says very little is known about her character, yet it goes into details about the character. Too funny.
She looks great! Jen can act as well an anyone in movies. She is a great actress and her movies do really well. Probably the ones her posting against her movie skills haven’t even seen her movies!

I think she’s had her share of great movies, and people dont give her enough credit, Her paycheck says it all though. I do love her in comedies the most though, she suits the part so well!
Noel, yes you are right. Steve Zahn is actually probably the best working actor in Hollywood. He was excellent in Werner Herzog’s “Rescue Dawn” with Christian Bale : proof that there are really good films being made these days. I am sure it will be a really interesting rapport in “Management”. These are really two of the best working actors in the industry right now and we should be proud of them. Personally, I wish Jen would do more creatively adventurous family orientated films with special effects, rather than the sex and single girl stuff that she has done so much of….. I am sure “Management” will open really well in Toronto this weekend and I expect it will do better than “The Break Up” and maybe even become a cult classic. “Office Space” is still a classic after all these years…….that is such a great movie. Hilarious. With the upcoming work with Woody Allen it really seems like her film career is starting to take off…..
i like some of the movies she’s been in and she’s fine in them… but i still don’t see her as a movie star. maybe it’s because she keeps playing the same type of person. if she played somebody totally different or is in an action or fantasy type of movie, maybe i’d see her differently. but she just doesn’t get those types of roles.

Aniston a great actress?! Ah, no. She has no range whatsoever. Every role she plays is Rachel Green. A great actress is Cate Blanchett, Marion Cotillard, Kate Winslet, Charlize Theron, Rachel Weisz, or Laura Linney to name a few. I would not put Aniston in the same category.
She looks great!! Very cute! I think she’s perfect for TV roles but she’s not so bad in movies either, she just seems to get some parts that aren’t so great for her. I loved her in the Break Up though, that movie surprised me. A lot better than I expected. I think she is gorgeous!! I miss her as Rachel though!
Management clip is hilarious. I never seen her play like this. It’s a must see.
