Nastia Liukin is striking while the iron is hot.
After capturing gold in the Olympic all-around gymnastics competition, the 18-year-old athlete is pulling a Michael Phelps by cashing in on a slew of endosement deals.

- she’s the celeb face for Vanilla Star Jeans (expect the launch of Nastia Liukin Gold jeans and tops for the holiday season)
- she has a stake in Beaconstreetgirls.com, a tween website that vends fashion and beauty items, home décor and books
- her image will be featured on a Wheaties box
- she has a scheduled appearance on Gossip Girl
What’s more? Nastia will head to the Big Apple next week to attend New York for Fashion Week. She’s hoping to join the ranks of fellow blondes Maria Sharapova and Anna Kournikova by signing even more lucrative deals with a slew of fashion companies.

Are those jeans or tights that she is wearing? If they are jeans…they are the tightest jeans I have ever seen!
Good for her! These athletes train their whole life to compete and should they win…they deserve every endorsement that comes their way.
I don’t have a problem with them getting endorsements but it’s funny they end up on these shows like Gossip Girl for a cameo.

Bonjour, antonella est ma petite fille. Elle a 12 ans et elle a remportée le titre de Championne de france de gymnastique cette année et admire Nastia, c’est son modèle, ell collectionne ses photos. J’aimerai savoir s’il y a possibilité d’acheter un DVD de Nasdtia afin de l’offrir à ma petite fille, ce serait un très beau cadeau pour elle et une motivation supplémentaire. Merci à vous
