Following his week-long stay in Italy for the Venice Film Festival, the big screen hunk flew to Geneva to rub elbows with a crowd of high-rollers. After an eve of hobnobbing at a cocktail party held at a museum in Geneva’s Old Town, gorgeous George raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for Barack Obama.
Dressed in a black suit and tie, Clooney signed autographs but did not comment as he squeezed past fans gathered in the narrow streets of Geneva.
So, how much exactly was raised? Some 170 contributors paid $1000 a head to hear him speak while another 75 spent $10 000 to attend “an intimate seated dinner” with the 47-year-old star at a nearby apartment.

It’s Cary Grant! Seriously, I once thought he looked like CG’s double, but I saw one of those Time Life informercials about Dean Martin’s old show and man does George Clooney and the Deanster look a lot alike. It’s funny he played the Sinatra role in Oceans when he looks so much like Dean or at least I think he does.
Well Cary Grant was a closeted homosexual movie star. So I guess Georgy boy is his double.
no, no, no, that tired rumor has been debunked thoroughly by many who could have made a mint off the knowledge if it were true. Yeah, he and Randolph Scott were roomates for years and even teasingly called the other wife , but you have to remember the times, and know that they simply were two secure in their sexuality enough to be two dudes who shared a home because otherwise they would have been made to not live in the same home. Rock Hudson? The studios even made him marry one of the secretary’s just for show because he was gay, and if that got out of the bag, his status as a silver screen hunk would be in ruins.
Again, many people who knew them intimately and professionally all say both men were serious heterosexuals “just like George Clooney.”
Im gonna sleep with him and he is going to want to marry me….
yea no one has said that before.
sorry, i bet there’s already a list of dudes tired of your pu$$y
