JESSICA KICKS IT WITH THE FAM

Fresh from a week-long stumping session in Denver, CO, Latina Democrat Jessica Alba is back in sunny California.

The new mom was spotted yesterday enjoying an afternoon stroll with her husband Cash Warren and their 3-month-old Honor in Santa Monica.

While she remained mum when quizzed about her daughter, Jessica lit up when asked about her appearance at the Democratic National Convention. “I think Barack [Obama] will give this country the change it needs,” she said.

Meanwhile, after taking the last year off to expand her family, Alba will soon report back to work as production begins on the highly anticipated Sin City sequal.

I like how everyone is like Obama the first black president when in reality he probably has nothing in common with regular black folk!

^Politicians *always* try to claim they’re regular folk at heart. It makes a certain portion of the voters feel warm and fuzzy. That being said, I’ve never heard anyone who knows anything about Obama’s or McCain’s histories say they’re typical Americans. That’s just stupid.

Also, are you saying that b/c he doesn’t have much in common with “regular black folk” that he’s not really black? That if he does indeed become president, he won’t really be the first black president?

He’s obviously black and will probably be the first black president!!!!!!!!!!! All im saying is that he has not experienced most of the struggles that most african americans go through on a daily basis and I don’t think it’s fair to pretend that he truly understands black america!!!!!!!!

What does the average white person have in common with George Bush, Bill Clinton, or any other president?

  13. September-1-2008 @ 5:30 pm

Nothing but the only reason Obama is such a big deal is because of his color! Do you really think Obama would be so popular if he wasn’t black! And that is my point we all know that we have nothing in common with Bush, Clinton ect but for some reason just because Obama is black the nation believe’s in this movement of change.
