Angelina Jolie’s apology for her communist-like treatment of journalists attending the New York premiere of her new film, ‘A Mighty Heart’, seems to be a cover-up for her discriminatory media medley.
The pouty-lipped lustress apologized for not only trying to prohibit Fox reporters, but also for not allowing anyone to ask personal questions and then blamed her overzealous lawyers when a public outrage arose.
But the actual picture, according to insiders was something else. Angie had very carefully picked publications, which went with upping her image, and cast off entertainment weeklies (like Us Weekly and Life&Style), which she thought would stain her status.
Miss Jolie only agreed to allow admission to OK! and her trustworthy supporter, People magazine, which has been the caretaker of her positive publicity.
A source close to the situation tells the New York Post: “Angelina is a control freak. She knows everything that goes and is very hands-on. It’s unbelievable to me that she wouldn’t know exactly what was going on at all times.”
The insider also revealed that Angie was infuriated when she found out that Brad’s mom recently visited her former daughter-in-law, Jennifer Aniston, at her Malibu mansion.
“Angelina really does not like Jennifer, even though Jen has not ever done anything to her and couldn’t care less about her. She doesn’t like that Brad’s mom is still close with Jen and is threatened by that.”
Manipulating perception? Jealousy? Paranoia? Either our girl Angelina needs to take a break from the spotlight or she’s suffering from a serious case of OCD. (Oooh, wait a minute — that sounds like a really great tabloid attention-grabber: “Angelina’s OCD Shocker!!”)

I hate Angelina as much as the next girl/guy, but I sincerely doubt that she is jealous of the relationship Brad’s mom has with Jen. It can’t be that much of a relationship anyway if it’s the first time they are seeing eachother since they divorced. And Angelina is probably just happy that she got the in-law burden of her back, cause they never seemed to be happy about eachother. But who knows what goes on behind closed doors.
That said, I think she is a manipulative hag and lives for positive publicity, and would do anything to have all the mags on her side.
I think she does care that Jen and Brad’s mom are still friends but I also think that she might try to pretend as if she doesn’t care. Not because she is Angelina but because she is human. If my husband’s mom not only never warmed to me but still is buddy buddy with his ex, I would be like, “Eff that b*tch.” LOL, I know it is childish, but I would be lying if I said it wouldn’t bother me even a little bit.

And Angelina is all about positive self image. Again, I don’t love or hate her, but she has gone through great lengths to get the public to view her in a different light. I don’t care what anyone says. What irritates me is the fact that she bitched and moaned everytime Jen talked about her divorce a few years back ( Ican’t lie, it annoyed me also) but now, she goes on and on about how they first hooked up. YOu know, just so no one is confused about how it ‘actually’ happened.

I’m glad she stuck it to Janice Min. That lady is the lowest of the low and says the craziest shit about people. On the flip side of that, being banned and/or not apologizing will only make US and Life & Style more vicious and I expect some real nasty Angelina/Brad headlines soon.

Yeah Paris, but who is in charge of her PR team needs to be fired ASAP, and i no even a fan, first that HUGE mistake of baning media segments from your PUBLIC premiere (dont like the question don’t answered!) that was enough bad publicity.
Then ban some tabloids and leaves the dear People Magazine (of course those same tabloids will trash for the rest of the year)if Angelina had been more “nice” to other magazines they would already stopped to bash her ass so constantly(remember when she adopted Pax and sold immediately the pictures to People? and all the tabloids got really mad. Unless she wants for the next five years be portrait like a witch she has to start to be more diplomatic.

(friends was over & brad pitt dumped her how long ago?) i doubt that angelina gives her a second thought.
They hate her because she is different. Angelina does not care what anyone says about her as long as it isn’t an attack on her children, she cares about her family so why would she be upset if Brad’s mum has friends? I agree with Stephi, they’ve all moved on from whatever happened and I’m sick of people blaming her just because she’s the woman.
Those magazines are probably just still sore because they didn’t get the first pictures of Shiloh and now they are having some one sided feud with her. She’s a respected actress and a humanitarian, at the very least you could talk about all the good work she does all over the world and in her own country but NO thats not newsworthy is it?
