Katie Holmes was seen arriving at the Minetta Lane Theater in New York City today for rehearsals.
Unlike her usual drabby and often androgynous outfits, the Broadway actress was looking nothing short of feminine in a bright colourful floral top.
Meanwhile, Project Runway guru Tim Gunn is channeling his inner Mr. Blackwell by offering his thoughts on some of Hollywood’s most fashionable starlets.
Of Katie, he says: “She went from looking like a little farm girl to looking like European royalty,” he raves. “Now she needs to push back a little so that she doesn’t look too dowdy or old.”

okay the top was cute….but WTF is up with that hidious sweater??? She sure know how to ugly up an outfit….first it was those rolled up pants…and those burkha scarves…..now she ripped off a homeless woman of her sweater!!!!!

Katie is looking a bit thin these days. A good twenty pounds would make her look a bit more healthier.
Yayy!! She’s finally wearing something normal and flattering again. Her clothes for the past few weeks have been terrible. With all the money she has you would think she could dress a little nicer. I don’t mind Katie though I think she seems like a nice person, but I don’t think she’s the smartest tool in the shed.
She looks like a 40 year old mom going to a PTA meeting. (Not that there is anything wrong with that). But she’s too young to look so much older than she is. I like the look for a 40ish year old but not on her.
