The unfit father blames Lindsay’s DJ friend Samantha Ronson for dragging her around to clubs and drinking in front of her.

Michael on Lindsay claiming that she’s “out of control” and obsessed with fame: “Who’s out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break. Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins … She’s gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who’s out of control? I go to church. I go and help people in rehab. That’s control. How can she say I’m out of control?”Michael on the source of Lindsay’s alleged problems: “I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay … Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life. That’s what Dina told me. I’m reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy.”
Michael on ex-wife Dina Lohan: “Dina’s a two-face. She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay’s good side instead of being a good parent.”
Michael on possibly ruining his relationship with his daughter: “I don’t give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she’s going to turn around to me and tell me, ‘Daddy, you were right.’”

I’m with Michael on this one! Hanging out in nightclubs is the last thing someone who has had addiction problems needs.
I agree with him to an extent, but he is totally a fame whore too. Its just a sad sad situation. I’m really grateful I had such a sane upbringing, my parents did a great job.
what a pig. the man is willing to throw away his relationship with his daughter in order to be on tv and talk crap about her. he should be publicly hung.
I think what he is saying is that he does not want to be her friend, he’s her father, and he’s being “the father” and one day she will thank him..I think

he doesn’t help his younger daughter who is more out of control…
he couldnt care less about Lindsay, if she wasnt famous he would not do all this tyrouble, why he doesnt care about his other kids?
He’s just a desperate famewhore. This is a cry for media attention because the tabloids have been talking less about his daughter over the past couple of months.
Why would he go and tell the world about Lindsay’s issues instead of having a private conversation if he’s really that worried?
I think he really needs to shut up. Let Lindsay live her own life and make her own mistakes. If he doesn’t care about her relationship with him as a friend then just back off for a while and let her go. He’s made his point and said what he has to say now, anything more just makes him look like more of an attention seeker. I think that he is right about Dina though, I think she knows full well that without her connection to Lindsay she is nothing, her show is nothing, her daughter is nothing. But I don’t think Sam seems like a bad influence in Lindsay at all, nothing crazy has happened since she’s been seeing Sam.
So does he thinks what he is doing right now is actually helping her career? What a douchebag mediawhore. Right or not, it shouldn’t be aired in public — the rest of America does NOT need to hear this shit anymore. Also, let’s be honest here folks - Lindsey Lohan is an adult. I don’t like her and you may not like her choices but it’s HER prerogative to ruin her life if she wants. Period. Odd thing is that she seems more stable now than ever before but what do we know (people outside her family).
Lindsay never had a chance with Dina and Michael. They’re so desperate for fame and attention that they have messed up all of their lives.

Every time I see pictures of Lindsay she’s out shopping, not drinking. This loser is just trying to fool himself (and the public) that other people are keeping Lindsay from him. She recently finished a movie and she’s filming episodes of Ugly Betty, so it’s clear his claims of her career being over are false.
