It may be surprising to hear, but Brooke Shields wasn’t feeling too confident wearing the bikini the Shape fashion team picked out for her for the special breast cancer October issue cover. (On the mag’s back cover, she sports a tank top.)
Despite a healthy regimine and regular workouts, she was worried because of recent bunion surgery. “I was worried about getting out of shape and gaining weight after the surgery. So just as I did with my pregnancies, I decided to go into it at my physical best.†For the 43-year-old actress, that meant putting the pedal to the metal when it came to her exercise routine to preemptively drop a few lbs before her operation.
So, how did she do it? “Spinning is the only way I ever lose weight. It’s purely about keeping my heart rate up and burning calories.” Now, two months after surgery, she’s gained 9 pounds. “That was a little more than I’d hoped, but by giving myself that cushion, I know I’ll get back into shape pretty quickly once I can start Spinning again.”
Shape hits stands September 8.

Either this photo is so photoshoped or she has never looked better in her life! I dont buy it….photoshoped all the way.
She looks great and I’ve seen her live and that picture looks just like she did, sorry. She’s one of the coolest, down to earth people on the Planet in my opinion.
That is so photoshopped. She looks like a man in real life.
I’ve watched on on that girly show - Lipstick Jungle - and even though I like Brooke, she does look kind of manly now. That’s a really flattering picture of her.
One word.
Photshopped.

Its funny how everyone on this blogs knows all of these so called celebs……
And it’s funny how some people on blogs read for comprehension. Seeing “live” does not translate into “knowing” no matter what language it’s said in. Next time SRAH, how about slowing your jerk roll and reading before responding.
I love Brooke and I still think she is gorgeous. Back in her younger days like Blue Lagoon, I think she was just completely stunning! She seems to have a really good personality and she’s very honest with the press. I thought it was great that she came out and talked about post partum, I personally did not know much about it until she did.
