It’s back to work for Lindsay Lohan!
After spending much of the last month wandering around L.A. with gal pal Samantha Ronson, the young starlet returned to the New York set of Ugly Betty today. During filming at a high school in Queens, LiLo was seen changed from her hip outfit to a sexy cheerleading uniform.
While she was professional on the set, she’s currently facing strife in her personal life — especially when it comes to her dad, Michael Lohan After recently talking to the press (yet again!) about her alleged drug and alcohol problems, Lindsay had lashed out at her estranged father via a blog post.

If you have something to say to me, say it to my face- that’s what i have believed my whole life- don’t be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world- i think we know where the rest of this blog is going…
If you guessed it had to do with my father- then you guessed right! It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.
Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is).
He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.
Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.
This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item.
I’m not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on…
I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.

I don’t blame her for being so angry. The paps and strangers saying these things are one thing, but your father saying this shit about you? Lindsay and Angelina have this in common. Two fathers who need to STFU.
GOOD FOR HER!!!!!!!! I would be so hurt and angry. I don’t blame her at all for being livid. She was 100% correct in everything she said.
Michael Lohan is in the running for worst famewhore parent of all time. Lindsay’s comments about him were spot-on and her mention of Samantha was very sweet.
Honestly, I think she would have been better to just stay quiet about it. I feel sorry for her thought because I think it would be just the worst thing for one of your own family members to sell you out. I think her whole family is majorly screwed up though and there’s way more problems there than meet the eye. Her dad was definately in the wrong though and has only created more drama in her life, at least it will keep her in the tabloids a bit. I think everyone was getting tired of reading about the lesbian love affair.
An impressively mature response to some pretty outrageous behavior by her grotesquely hypocritical father. Sounds like she’s in therapy and is getting her priorities straight. I didn’t have much use for her in the past, but the bravery she has shown in keeping true to herself and Samantha through all this media craziness has given me a newfound respect for the kid…

So let me get this straight … she is having nothing to do with her father because he talks about her private life to the press … so she voices her frustration with him by TALKING ABOUT HER PRIVATE LIFE TO THE PRESS? I guess the hypocrisy is okay cause, like, she’s a Celebrity. They both need a good ass kicking!

Make him go away please! The media should stop giving him a platform to speak. The man is irrelevant and clearly in a lot of inner turmoil.It’s like he is trying to sabotage his own daughter. Let LL get back to fulfilling her potential as an actress and give her a chance to leave her past behind without all this hating going on.
Everything she said is right; I just wish she could spell. However the thing that caught my eye is that she specifically said she’s ‘drug free’; nothing about being alcohol free. So I bet the little bit about Sam passing drinks to her under tables has some truth to it. And if so, she’ll be headed down the same path again. She is a drug addict and alcoholic. She cannot drink, period.
First of all, blogging on your myspace page is not blabbing to the media. Secondly, whether it is her own written feelings or a PR person saying it, same thing.. but sounds more honest coming from her instead of a prepared statement.

Just because she just said drug free, does not mean she’s drinking… not fair to nit-pick on someone’s personal feelings.. you can’t think of every little thing to make sure it’s just perfect for all to read when you are hurt and spilling your feelings.

Also, drugs and alcohol, in her case and in my humble opinion, were merely a symptom of the things she was dealing with. I didn’t drugs when I was her age, I was never an addict.. though, if I were a celebrity, I’d have been in and out of rehab 100 times to please the public.. not addressing the real problems. So, to say that she can not drink ever b/c she was doing drugs and went to rehab is not a completely fair statement. She’s just like a lot of young people, making mistakes and hopefully learning from them. Growing up is about learning self control in MANY arenas. If she can control herself and is dealing with the demons responsibly, I don’t think it’s fair to say she can never drink again.

That all said, I think this was a very mature, honest message and shows me a lot as to how much she’s learned and changed.
BTW… I had a perfect 800 on my SATs and when blogging or commenting.. i can tend to misspell words, especially in the heat of the moment.. so I can’t ding her for that either. She’s only human.

Only1, what kind of rehab program allows alcoholics to drink?!?!?!?!?!??! It may not be fair but that’s life; and life isn’t always fair. Lindsay Lohan has serious issues and drinking is one of them. As far as I’m concerned, the fact that she didn’t say she was also alcohol free is a huge clue. She’s hitting the bottle.
And I was only pointing out that she can’t spell. Her poor spelling has been the subject of more than one blog posting. It has nothing to do with being in the heat of the moment. Either you know how to spell or you don’t and her dumb ass can’t. I dont’ care how mad I am; I know ‘embarassment’ doesn’t have 2 ‘e’s. BTW, please tell me you meant a perfect 1600 on your SATs…….

I love Lilo..i see all her movies,,,and i´d like to be like her,,,i think she is a great person….and she needs have her own life….
she does´t need her problems to be a good actrees becuase she is a perfect star….
