Defying all logic and reason, Samantha Ronson managed to peel herself off gal pal Lindsay Lohan for long enough to enjoy a lunch date with her brother Mark Ronson at Bar Pitti in downtown Manhattan today.

So, what was the topic of discussion? Likely SamRo’s rumoured plans to write a book!

“It’s supposed to be about her, allegedly,” says a souce. “But come on, you know Lindsay will be all over that book. She’s the only one people want to read about.”

Meanwhile, Michael Lohan is apparently enraged by the idea that the lesbian DJ currently spinning his daughter’s records (if you know what we mean) might exploit her by penning a tell-all.

“I’ve shut up about this long enough,” scoffs Michael. “She’s using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she’s writing a book? I am at wit’s end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay’s best interest.” He adds: “Let’s just say I hope Lindsay starts opening her eyes and realizes who the people using her are.”

And what does the girl at the centre of the storm have to say about all this? LiLo tells Access Hollywood: “He’s out of control. I want him to stop hurting and talking to the media about the people I love.”

We hate to go there but…Team Ronson or Team Lohan?
