Kylie Minogue is putting the French Island retreat where she spent time recovering after her breast cancer scare on the block.
Described as “a uniquely private island hideaway less than two hours from Melbourne and light years from the stresses of city life”, the Aussie songbird’s private French Island estate in Western Port Bay is going for a whopping $1.15 million dollars. Not bad considering Miss Minogue purchased the property three years ago for a mere $400 000.
The lavish property boasts 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big country kitchen,a restored chicory kiln and sweeping bay views on 49 acres. Proving that she’s up with the times, Kylie even installed several environmentally friendly innovations, including solar and wind power generators.

Who the hell wants to live on an island anyways? That would be fun for like 10 minutes and then you would want to kill yourself.
Wowww!! It’s really beautiful and yes I agree that the price is amazing!! I can see how living here would have helped her get through her cancer battles. Nice and private and bright and happy looking. I think most celebs would love to live on an island. They are around people all day long, I’m guessing when they go on vacation they wouldn’t mind being alone.
