There is a new Angel in heaven!
Victoria’s Secret has revealed that model Doutzen Kroes is the newest Victoria’s Secret Angel, joining the likes of Heidi Klum and Alessandra Ambrosia.
So, how did the 23-year-old Dutch beauty score a modeling contract in the first place? After sending her photo to an agency hoping to earn enough cash to buy more fashion magazines, she was instantly signed.
Doutzen’s first official Victoria’s Secret campaign, Supermodel Obsessions, launcheed today in New York City. Fellow Angel Adriana Lima was on hand for support and guidance.

She is very pretty. The other day I saw her in an ad w/ Eva Longoria and I was confused because I thought she looked like Denise Richards, but I kept looking and said: wow, a lot of photoshop, then I looked again and read her name at the bottom of the page.

She’s pretty, but rather boring. The blonde, big eyes, tiny nosed without any interesting features at all, which is kind of sad, they could have picked a model just as pretty but more, interesting.

Doutzen has been one of my favourite models for a while. She’s got the perfect looks for Victoria’s Secret. Really gorgeous face and hair and a killer body. These girls are what supermodels should be. Adriana looks beautiful as always…gorgeous hair.
I think she’s pretty and looks better than Adriana (who looks satanic here). I agree that she resembles Denise Richards, too. And I’m with psl on the supermodel thing! Unless your name is Naomi, Cindy, Linda, etc. then you are not a supermodel. No one has been as fierce since the 90s…..

I am glad that so many here are saying that Adriana looks satanic. I always have found her kind of strange looking. I mean, she’s very pretty but there was something with her eyes that bugged me. I think the color is too light and they almost look like they will roll back at any moment. Now, I have to disagree with Sarah, I think that Doutzen is beautiful. She isn’t cookie cutter either. As far as models go, she has very proportioned facial features. Nice oval face with cheekbones, pretty eyes, lips pouty but not too full and I love her nose, it’s small but not on her and it’s perfect. Plus nice skin, almost a Grace Kelly beauty about her. She really makes Adriana look ugly. The main picture you can see A’s teeth are awful, her nose is kind of crooked and her eyes, well I alread addressed that!!
