Former actress Tara Reid launched her Mantra beach range at the “When I Move You Move” show in Las Vegas last night.
Featuring t-shirts, dresses, bikinis, ponchos and hoodies decorated with beads and charms, Reid’s range is expected to retail at between $65 and $180.
“It’s about putting into the universe what you want in life: Red means love, pink is friendship, green is lucky, black is protection,†says Tara, who found inspiration in her longtime hobby of making charm bracelets. “You’re gonna have a story when you wear this bikini or when you put this dress on: You’ll either get love or meet a new friend or you might meet a guy.â€
Despite being able to find any real acting jobs, Tara admits that she’s just happy being creative. “I feel like I’m in a really great place in my life, and I love what I’m doing,†she says. “I love acting but I can’t hire myself. If this works, then we’re in business. If not, I tried.â€

I always like her in the beginning of her career but once she did that E show, it was all dwon hill for her. Acting is over for her.

The whole color thing is not a bad concept in my opinion. I like that kind of stuff that has a bit of meaning. But knowing Tara the designs themselves will be really trashy and probably stuff that I wouldn’t wear in a million years. She would have done so much better for herself if she’d managed to control her partying and not tampered with her body. She’s got quite a pretty face I think.
