Looking like a goddess in a full-length Grecian-inspired gown, Jennifer Aniston was recently snapped in the dry California desert on set of an upcoming smartwater campaign shot by famed photographer Mario Testino.
The good news just keeps flowing in for Miss Aniston. In addition to being paid millions to pitch water, the 38-year-old actress has been asked to join Hollywood’s most exclusive club.
She was among 115 actors, filmmakers, studio executives and others invited into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the group that hands out the Oscars.
Consider that one less vote for ‘A Mighty Heart.’

Ha Ha.. Why her? I mean I liked her in Friends and think she was pretty funny, but why would she be invited to join the Academy? It’s not like she is an exceptional actress…
Jennifer is very well liked and respected in the entertainment industry. Her movies have always done great in theaters. Plus she producers and her directorial debut, a short film Room 10, won a jury price recently in a Las Vegas film festival.

Sorry, but Jennifer is a sit-com star. This has to be the work of her publicist. She is not respected for her film work. She is barely a blip on film radar. I don’t know where you get your info from but only a few of her movies have done well at the BO but that was due to the draw of Vince Vaughn and Jim Carrey not Jennifer. She may have helped draw some curious viewers in to the Break Up because she was going through a tabloid break up in real life and she was supposedly hooking up with her co-star. She can’t carry a movie and her acting is not respected except for that one indie movie she did years ago. She CO-produced and CO-directed a ten minute short. She didn’t even do these things on her own. Please. Don’t pretend it’s more than it was. The Academy isn’t always fair. There are certainly actors much more worthy of an invite before Aniston.

I think she looks very pretty … and from what I understand, the academy consists of more than actors. Not sure why she was chosen … although I do like her movies and she was very good in friends … the fact is that she was chosen so, someone thinks she is worthy.
I think Jen looks amazing and awesome here! It’s so refreshing to see a skinny Caucasian woman instead of an overweight, unhealthy African American woman . I mean everyone’s entitled to an opinion.
