David Blaine is attempting another death-defying publicity stunt.
ABC has just announced that the magician plans to hang from a thin wire five stories up in the air in Central Park’s Wollman Rink for three days and nights.
Blaine will walk on and under the wire during the stunt using electro-magnetic boots.
Says the ABC release: “How will he exit from his perch overlooking New York City? Details of Blaine’s heart-stopping plunge at the conclusion of the special are a closely-guarded secret. He will surprise us all — live – on a new, two-hour ABC primetime special, David Blaine: Dive of Death, on Wednesday, September 24.”
If you go check him out in Central Park during the three days, may we suggest you bring some shooting darts?

This guy is the biggest phony in the world and you are not bright if you fall for his bullshit.
He has done a lot crazy stuff in his magic career but I like the stuff he does to people on the streets. Some of it is mind numbing.

“How will he exit from his perch overlooking New York City?” : my guess, judging by the title “DIVE OF DEATH” is that he will plummet, head first into a seedy uptown Manhattan bar, there he will use his magic skills to bore patrons solid, and for a finale, Chris Angel will disappear upstairs with Kendra Wilkinson.

I’m sorry but no matter how many people call fake and phony, I still love watching this shit. I know that it’s not real but it’s just entertainment. It’s fun to watch and it always surprises you and makes you wonder how it’s done. Criss Angel is my fave though, I swear he’s just a little bit magic haha.
