Jon Voight has responded to Roseanne Barr’s blog rant about him, daughter Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt not backing Barack Obama.
After dissing her for being a “victim of child abuse” and then criticizing her disgraceful attempt at the National Anthem back in 1990, he writes: “… My allegiance to Senator McCain becomes stronger with any assault that tries to deter my loyalty to him. I can only pray that good people see her for what she is (sick of mind).”
Something tells us this isn’t the last we’ll be hearing about this latest celebrity feud.
In the meantime, Team Voight or Team Barr?

she ranted about brangelina not yet saying who they are supporting…not that they are supporting McCain. Big dealio anyways. I would think Brangelina would see that daddy is supporting McCain and run in the opposite direction!

TEAM ROSEANNE!!! Since Jon Voight’s daughter Angelina Jolie won’t even talk to him, he is not the person to listen to about family values. How did he screw up that relationship? And Roseanne is correct about Jon’s cockeyed support of McCain and about what whores Angie and Brad are.

Saw Voight with Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson and Ice Cube in ANACONDA the other night ..Fun Movie.

i don’t really understand his first sentence about vile coming from abused kids or whatever…it sounds like i’m missing some info on the topic. but that doesn’t make sense to make fun of someone for that.
then again, i read barr’s blog and was absolutely disgusted by the depths of her mental disorder…i’ll give a slight nod to voight because being a conservative in hollywood is more difficult than being a communist WAS in the 50s. you know, because people like barr are quite intolerant, and abundant.

I’m voting for Obama, but I’m totally Team Voight too….Rosanne is not helping Obama what-so-ever by saying Angelina and Brad should vote for him because he is “brown”, and they have children from Africa and Asia…they probably will vote for Obama in my opinion, but I respect the fact that they are setting the example of carefuly weighing both options before jumping on any bandwagons.

I don’t think he should have brought up the fact that she was abused as a child. That is irrelevant in my opinion. I do think that she’s a bit mentally impaired though. She’s definately not all there. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is a compulsive liar and she’s just looking for attention, although John Voight has said some pretty stupid things in his time as well.

I think John Voight was trying to say, “let’s consider the source” with his victim comments….she has been diagnosed with Multiple Personality Disorder so he’s probably telling us to keep that in mind when considering her ridiculous rant. Her distaste for McCain and support for Obama looks to me more like an attack on Brad and Angelina……I wonder which one of her personalities thought this one up.
