MICHAEL PHELPS DOES ‘SPORTS ILLUSTRATED’

Don’t expect to see Olympic champ Michael Phelps on a Wheaties box.
Says his longtime agent Peter Carlisle: “It’s going to be Kellogg’s.”
Kellogg’s confirmed to Access Hollywood that Phelps will appear on both Kellogg’s Corn Flakes and Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes. Boxes will arrive on store shelves in mid-September.
Meanwhile, this new Phelps-adorned cover of Sports Illustrated hits newsstands tomorrow.

He is incredible and I wasnt really a fan of swiming but he made a devoted fan. Way to go Michael!!

This man is the best of the best of the best! FINALLY something for Americans to be proud of with so much BS going on today…. we can all unite and be proud! That’s a great thing! And he’s from my hometown.. So we are all EXTRA proud!

Agree stupid cover for such a great athlete. Why does he need to be topless? Very tabloid of Sports Illustrated.

Not a great photo, they could have shot a better one. But Michael seems like a humble American hero, good for him!

I don’t like the cover. I know what they were trying to do. However they could have done him better. Michael is so humble and sweet that I can’t help but be happy for him that he won all these gold!!! Even his teammates, and other swimmers from other contries say they never see him change, not getting all big headed and stuff. He just really want to swim and was born to do it I guess.

The cover is really really stupid looking. If you don’t scroll all the way down it looks like he’s wearing a halter top and he just looks kinda like a geek. He looks much better than that usually. He truly is an amazing athlete and he must be so proud of his ahievements! Wow!! It’s still hard for me to back the States in the Olympics though, I’m still definately an Australian supporter. And I was friends with Stephanie Rice as well, the girl who has been winning lots of gold in the pool for Australia!
