Not only was Britney Spears custody battle with ex-hubby Kevin Federline long, messy and drawn out, but it was also very expensive.
Just-released court documents show legal bills submitted on behalf of two law firms who represented Britney total more than $466 000!!!! That’s on top of the $250 000 she agreed to pay K-Fed’s attorneys.
Who’s responsible for the largest bill? Attorney Stacy D. Phillips, who says in court filings that she is owed nearly $407 000 for four months of work. She claims she has written off another $125 000 in fees.
As for famed lawyer Laura Wasser? She is seeking an additional $60 000 for less than two months of work.
All that money and Federline ended up retaining full custody of the children.
Refund anyone?!?

wow, poor girl got robbed by her husband and her lawyers. what a country fool.
She has enough cash to pay for all of that in one swoop. She is back on her game and there is not much that will stop her.

That’s what lawyers do. It’s their job to rob their clients. I am surprised she didn’t have better people around her. A million bucks for a custody battles sounds a little high.
