Madge has finally reached her half century, but the queen of pop shows no signs of relinquishing her crown.
According to Guinness World Records, the Material Mom is the most successful female solo artist, selling around 120 million albums and 40 million singles — a combined total more than any other female.
Not one to be accused of slowing down, the super-fit singer is preparing for her Sticky And Sweet world tour.
Her spokeswoman was keeping tight-lipped about exactly how Madonna will be celebrating, only confirming she was in the UK at the moment.
The Mirror recently reported that a lavish soirée at her country estate in Wiltshire may have to be postponed due to Madonna suffering a bad ankle.

why is it so important that this singer turns 50? I really don’t get it. She doesn’t even embrace her age with all the surgery she’s done, so why should we? Now had she turned 100, I could understand, but 50…
I just want her to go away. The best thing about a narcissistic bitch like this turning 50 is knowing that it is probably killing her to be that age. All of her actions indicate that she still thinks of herself as she did when she was 25 or possibly younger.

The reason it gets attention that she turns 50 is because she’s an icon. Nomatter how much some people dislike her that doesn’t change the fact she is a huge star. One who’s been around for 25 years. Sorry but the people who hate her and want her to ga away can’t change that. So that’s why it gets attention.
It’s a pretty huge milestone for her, I wonder how she’s feeling about it? I can’t imagine her being too happy about getting older, she seems like the type who is desperate to stay young. There is so much happening in her life right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if she has a breakdown. She’s pretty strong so I hope she can get through it all.
