Is Oscar-winner Renee Zellwegger joining the cast of ABC’s ‘Grey’s Anatomy’?
Nah — it was just for one night, as fellow honorees at last night’s 2007 Crystal/Lucy Awards, honoring women in film and television.
But the 38-year-old actress did say she was a fan of Grey’s, which she called “smart, well written with great acting. That’ll do it.”
Renee just wrapped up shooting alongside gorgeous George Clooney in the football-themed ‘Leatherheads.’ She said she tried to pick up a football one day, but thought, ” ‘What am I going to do if that thing hits me in the face like Marcia Brady?’”
You mean, her face can look more sour than it already does??

I have always liked Renee but she is looking a little over botoxed here.
She looks like crap.Her hair and face always look greasy.That dress blends in with her skin,and I don’t mean that as a compliment.
She looked better with longer brown hair. Her face is not cute enough to support a short hair style.
Is she joking? Grey’s Anatomy is NOT a smart, well written show.
yeah, that’s ridiculous. grey’s is a dumb, poorly-written show with subpar acting. i don’t understand its popularity.
I’ve never understood her appeal. She is a great actress, no doubt about it. Anyone that can go from Bridget Jones to Roxi Hart is obviously very flexible with their roles, but looks wise she is nothing special. Her face always looks like she is sucking a lemon and her body looks pale and sickly the majority of the time. She’s one of the few actresses that appeared to have made it solely on their acting abilities, very very rare in Hollywood.
Agree spinner, agree Stephi. Love her as an actress but she is so not looking good here.
