Taking a break from interning at Rolling Stone, the daughter of Courtney Love and the late (and great) Kurt Cobain was spotted at JFK Airport in NYC yesterday looking very well put together.
The skinny jeans. The dark sunglasses. The rocker boots.
She’s even wearing a Metallica t-shirt!!!!!

I know I’m gonna get jumped on for this, But Kurt Cobain was not great. He was a loser drug addict who could not and did not appreciate the life and gifts that he was given. Coming from a person who’s been to the brink, suicide is the stupidest and most selfish act a person can commit. There is nothing that can justify it. There are always ways to recover. You just might be too weak and selfish to work at it. Sorry…. there’s my rant for the day.

When Obama gives his stadium acceptance speech at the Democratic convention, it will be the night of the 45th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. You can count on breathless reporters waxing dreamy about Dr. King’s vision fulfilled that historic night. However, not all African Americans agree. “Barack Obama is directly contrary to many positions and beliefs of Martin Luther King, Jr.,” “Obama is trying to make African Americans believe he is the reality of the Dream come true, but he’s not. It’s a nightmare.”
Dr. Alveda King, daughter of MLK’s younger brother, the late slain civil rights activist Rev. A.D. King, says, “Senator Obama’s answer to the ills of society, of higher government spending, weaker national defense, continued tax dollars to Planned Parenthood, and support of gay marriage, are diametrically opposed to everything African Americans truly believe and an anathema to the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”
“In the shadow of the famous ‘I Have a Dream’ speech by my uncle in 1963, as Barack Obama makes his speech in 2008, how can the Dream survive if we murder the children?” asks Dr. King concerning the unborn. “Life was very precious to my uncle and life today is precious.”
Our best interests as Black Americans,” Owens says, “…lie in a new direction that reflects our core beliefs and values, not merely a resemblance of someone we look like.”
Again quoting her uncle, King says, “‘there comes a time when one must take a position that is neither safe, nor politic, nor popular, but one must take it because it is right.’” She passionately adds, “This is not the time to be silent; this is not the time to give Barack Obama a free pass! There is too much at stake.”

She definately looks very rock and roll…but I mean c’mon she’s the daughter of Kurt and Courtney! I think it’s great she’s working for Rolling Stone, I wonder how her dad would have felt about that. I’m still fascinated by Kurt, I think he was a very intelligent guy with a lot to say. It’s too bad he didn’t live long enough to say it all. I can’t help but still blame Courtney though.

I love kurt cobain and frances has turned out to be a very cute grl. Her father would be so proud of her. And you She looks so much like him you orchid that there is no way that she isnt his. And to you ceece hot topic doesnt cary vintage tee’s anymore and even if it isnt a real vintage shirt who cares mayb she likes wearing that style. Who are you to judge. And mMm who are you to judge the character of someone you dont even know. You are so quick to say that he was stupid and an idiot and youre all high and mighty for not killing yourself but you sir are the ignorant one for judging kurt. He was a briliant man and you would be lucky to be the dirt under his shoes. Frances looks amazing.

i envy her, not only for her genes but for her unique style. Also, i hear that she isn’t stuck up, and that’s great because she has reason to be!
