The talk show has a failure rate higher than the restaurant industry, yet that doesn’t stop people from trying. Remember Megan Mullally’s recent attempt? Neither do we.
The latest star developing a daytime show is Leah Remini. The actress/Scientologist is in talks to do a one-hour show for CBS.
Other talk show projects are said to be in the works for celebrity weight loser Valerie Bertinelli, T.V. cook Paula Deen and Dancing with the Stars alum Marie Osmond.
Our thoughts on which of these lovely ladies have a shot at daytime success?

I actually like Leah Remini and think she’s hilarious (Scientology aside) but I’m not sure about a talk show. She’d have to be censored and then it would probably water the show down too much. I also love Paula Deen and she is definitely raking it in. Marie Osmond annoys me and I guess Valerie’s okay. Like bds said, nothing can be any worse than the crap on tv now. If I see one more reality show I’m going to lose it.
