Shannon Elizabeth is in Dagoretti, Nairobi today!
No, she didn’t run off to Africa to get hitched to her Dancing with the Stars beau Derek Hough (those rumours were squashed last week). The reality star and former actress was on hand to play with children at Abandoned Baby Centre.
Elizabeth and five other celebrities are in the country to shoot a primetime network television special documentary titled Eye on Kenya in association with Feed the Children that will look at the wonders of Kenya through the eyes of celebrities as they visit the country.

Oh my Gosh, that little one in the top picutre (light blue coat) is so cute, I want to bring him home! Oh, just for a minute I forgot, people on this sight think I am a racist! But anyway, I want to squeeze those little cheeks, what a sweet heart! I want to give him a big hug!
Looking for media adulation ala jolie, fishing for better roles maybe ?
Celeb hypocrisy is astounding.
How about the abandoned babies of crack whore mothers here. Their is a lot of poor babies here because of irresponsible americans.
Wow I can’t believe people actually bash her, or others, for doing something good. Just because it isn’t what you wanted them to do in the world doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter! Way to go Shannon, and others, who try to bring lite to all of the worlds different and growing problems.
The baby in the second picture looks scared to death!
I had the pleasure of meeting Shannon recently and she is a wonderful human being. She has a kindness that is undescribable. She treats everyone respectfully and as an equal. She is also wonderful with children … I had the pleasure to witness her with some very sick children and her compassion is termendous.
me.. no one thinks you are a racist.. by saying you want to squeeze the cheeks just makes you human… these are pure bred africans , no mixture and you gotta give it up for that….cute comes in all races and that little zahara(angelinas) is the cutest lil bungle!
Instead of ghetting into Shannon’s personal life as it relates to the show DWTS, this is what we should be thankful for. This is a far better thing she is doing then dancing the night away, it brings reality of a hopeless situation to many who may never see this, and her fans from the show have the chance to see what life is all about.
Good work Shannon. Do it more often
