DO NOT MESS WITH JONASMANIA

Fans are bombarding a music critic that dared to diss Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.

In a profile of the pop group yesterday, J. Freedom du Lac boldly said Kevin “has the misfortune — or, perhaps, the great fortune — of being in a band with two guys who tend to overshadow him.”

Now Jonas fans are going ballistic.

Here are merely some highlights of the verbal tongue-lashing the author of the piece received.

- So don’t assume that just because some of the shallow teenie boppers don’t fall head over heels for him, that there aren’t people who truly care about him.

- i was very upset with thing about the jonas brothers part today! you just crushed millions of girls hearts do you know that??

- omg. i cant freaking belive the WASHINGTON POST! would write something like that about the amazing, gorgeous, and talented kevin jonas.

- You do not have the right to criticize someone you don’t even know! That’s not right. That’s biased. Ever heard the expression “Don’t judge a book by its cover?”

Not since the era of McCarthyism have we seen such shameless Hollywood blacklisting.

    I’m not a fan of these teeny boppers but I dont think the writter said anything too mean or bad about the guy.

    I am older and I just to see what the big deal is about these boys. Secondly, they are not very attractive in my opinion.

    Earl…where do you get the religion b/s?I have a solution for you…don’t listen to their what you call horse shit music.I don’t really care for any of the Jonas brothers.I think they are extremely overrated (and ugly).I don’t think the critic said anything out of line.

    In my opinion all three of them suck. Their voices are so cracky and pubescent.
