Inside the September issue, the 38-year-old rap mogul talks about his two biggest loves — Beyonce and Barack Obama.
Jay on why he won’t talk about his wedding or marriage to Beyonce: “I just think it’s really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself. You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you. I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to.”Jay on Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama: “What [Obama] represents is, we as a people are part of the American Dream. Hands down the greatest rapper of all time…no question.
I have always found this guy physically totally repulsive, although I did like his rap on Beyonce’s “Crazy in Love”.
anyone ever seen “Enemy Mine”? It’s like an 80’s movie.. he’s always reminded me of the alien kid. Love his music though… and he’s right about being allowed to keep things sacred.. It’s not our RIGHT to know anything about anyone’s personal life unless it is directly effecting our well being.. not our enquiring minds.

i totally understand why blacks in america suddenly realize they can be anything after all these years and thank GD the repubs didn’t nominate a black person because then he’d just be a TOM to look down on! looking at BHO, the half white, half black (half luo which some say is arab). who’s mother’s side owned slaves, and who’s dad’s (his biological dad) side likely sold slaves (that’s what muslims did in kenya); who was raised in kenya, indonesia and hawaii, and then ended up at harvard.
we ALL can totally understand what that’s like! it’s played out in america’s inner cities DAILY. i can just picture a mom in atlanta saying, ‘look son, his SKIN is sorta like yours, see? you can be the president.’

I don’t think beyonce is with him for his money, because she has enough of her own….. but speaking of his very heavy african features, its a breath of fresh air to see a brother like jay make it irrespective of most of the world’s euro-centric idea of beauty; because beauty and the way you look now dayz have a profound effect on one’s advancement (espeacially in america & europe)… the fact that he made it sooo far on nothing but sheer skillz, should speak volumes on how good he is at what he does…. 2pac wasn’t/isn’t good enough to hold jay’s jocky strap when it comes to rap, he aquried the title greatness after his death. hip hop was dead to most…. but jay always finds away to raise her from the dead like jesus did to that man in the scriptures.
