First Ray-Bans and neon colors…this 80’s style staple was bound to come back into fashion at some point!

Love Amanda Peet but those jeans look just silly. I am not loving the comeback of the rolled up jean look.
Rachel bilson pulls it off nicely here but Amanda Peet and Katie just look sloppy.
I don’t mind folded up jeans, but not rolled up! Katie looks like a mess. She actually looks like she’s wearing Tom’s jeans…although she wouldn’t need to roll them up!

Well, I like this trend more than skinny jeans, but Amanda and Kate look like a mess. The jeans look they were dug out from the bottom of the hamper.
I said I’d never wear leggings or skinny jeans as they both were hideous looking to me, but eventually I broke down and tried both of those trends. This trend here I will not in a million years bring back to life. I didn’t do it the first time it was hot in the 80’s and I won’t do it now. Even in 3rd grade I knew how ridiculous of a look it was.
WE called this pinching our pants back then.

My students in 7th and 8th grade were already wearing their pants like this last school year…. I was shocked…. I wore my pants like that when I was their age.

I think the trend is ugly…
BUT
I LOVE IT! Why? Because I’m short. I have a bunch of jeans that were too long, and I would look stupid rolling up them. But now, I so can.
