Only a few weeks after an ugly public divorce trial exposing her ex-husband’s indiscretions, Christie Brinkley enjoys time on her boat, aptly named “Sweet Freedom.â€
The busy mother spent the beautiful weekend with her children to celebrate “Float Festival 08†off Shelter Island in Long Island, NY. Christie smiled and posed with her son, Jack, while daughter Sailor played with friends in the water.
The 54-year-old former swimsuit model still looks radiant in a bikini. She has bounced back remarkably after a painful trial that exposed personal and intimate details of her life with (now) ex-husband Peter Cook and seems poised to enjoy “Sweet Freedom†with her children and await new love.

She’s not 44 she’s 54! Regardless of her age though, she is a very beautiful woman. It would suck to be her daughter (who does not have 1/2 her beauty).
She may look happy but lets face it…every man she has been with has either cheated on her or left her. She is not as nice as she looks.
She is gorgeous!!! She looks amazing for her age and I really do think she is a nice person. Just because she’s been cheated on does not make her a bad person, it just means she picks the wrong men!! Good to see she’s enjoying life and not letting it get her down so much. I know that the past few months must have been hell for her.
