She’s rehearsing for her world tour. She’s in the middle of a media firestorm over allegations that her marriage is in ruins. She looks like she’s on the brink of a nervous breakdown. But all that isn’t stopping Madonna from adding yet another responsibility to her growing agenda.
On August 9, Madge will be the Honorary Chairperson at the “Mane Eventâ€, a benefit for Amaryllis Farm Equine Rescue, which helps save rescue horses from being slaughtered.
The event will take place at photographer extradonaire Steven Klein’s Bridgehampton home. Klein is an avid horse enthusiast and has featured horses in his work on quite a few occasions. Some of his works featuring horses will actually be auctioned off at the event, which will be hosted by Klein and Gwyneth Palthow.
Other guests likely to attend are Stella McCartney, Kelly Klein, Sale Johnson and Marcy Warren.
During the evening Olympic Rider Robert Dover will give a performance and tickets for the event are still available at prices starting at $500 and ending at $2500.

I feel kind of sorry for her. Her world is not what it used to be. I’ve read that the world tour ticket sales is not going so well.
Just because she is the “honorary” chairperson, doesn’t mean she will show up. the two hosts will be there, but I’d be surprised if Mo showed up. Her name is used as a draw (and she’s given a load of money), but it’s not her event.
She should just spend more time being a wife and a mom. Rather than a pop star. She already did that and WAS the best at it. RIP

and jack tripper, that has been said before about her music and career back when the sex book came out. Hell, people have said that about britney and nothing is stopping her either.
I’m surprised she’s doing anything really. Last time I saw her she looked completely worn out. She’s been going through so much shit lately, I can’t help but feel sorry for her. Those tickets are hella expensive though!!
