J.LO IS THE GOVERNESS

A radiant Jennifer Lopez showed off her million dollar smile during a recent night out in Hollywood with her hubby Marc Anthony.

Shimmering in a gold satin number with a jewel-encrusted neckline, the busy mom enjoyed a night off from diaper duty as she dined with friends and family at an upscale L.A. eatery.

Meanwhile, after taking about a year off to have some kids, J.Lo is going back to work in the fall to star as The Governess.

Story centers on a professional thief who, in order to pull off a major bank heist, poses as a nanny to the three unruly children of a wealthy widower. When she starts to fall for the kids and their father, she must decide if she can give up her past for a chance to start over.

Sounds a little cheesy, but the script was written by Kevin Wade, the man who also penned Maid in Manhattan so there’s hope yet!

Love the dress and she is in great form again. Almost like she wasn’t even pregnant. How do they do it? I need some of their secrets.

Jlo is the most overhyped celeb out there. Name me one movie except for Out of Sight, that she was good in?? She is talentless and way too much of Diva for no reason.

I thought she was KICK ASS in “Enough” (no pun)
Then “The Cell” was kick also.
Maid In Manhattan wasnt my kind of flick, though people love her.

I never saw what the big deal is about her. Her music is average at best!

I think she should stick to acting and no more music. A lot of these aging pop stars (Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson) have become irrelevant musically and I think J-lo would be as well.

She is a triple threat!! She can do it all and I dont think anyone can doubt her talent. She is amazing.

Filming soon “Love and other impossible Pursuits” good book can’t wait for film.
“The Governess” sounds like a comedy should be fun.

This movie sounds like crap. Should she gave up a life of crime? For a chance at being rich and happy. WTF! Sounds like a real winner.

Whether you like her or not she is a natural when it comes to acting. It would be great if she got better roles ,but unfortunately she is not married to a director,producer/writer, like most terrible actresses given the best roles just because of who their married to.

Overrated……Selena was her best acting ever because the role was also good. Sometimes you’ve got a great actor with a crappy role and they do what they can with it.

Seems like she is the only one in both these movies…Now they are promoting “The Governess”
that was suppose to be done 2 years ago with Nicole Kidman..Wow nothing like promoting a movie
that doesn’t have a start date yet.. Just because it is listed doesn’t mean it is going to start filming
when “The Governess was put on the back burner .. and now she is making that movie…What is
going to happen next..Just because the Pursuit movie is done by the same director that did Bounce
with Ben affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow…So lets get a start date on these movies.. And stop talking
as if she is going back to work..

Only 1…. you nailed it. Especially in a business where there is so much nepotism and cliques it is hard to breakthrough unless you are really talented. She has also made it OK to have a real body and opened doors for many young latinas today, she is a true ICON.

Unlike paltrow with her director dad and uncle spielberg she didn’t earn her OSCAR.

Lisa Kudrow and Jeffrey Dean Morgan from grey’s are wonderful casting choices for “LAOIP”.
    can’t wait , I recommend the book.

being a “triple threat” and a mogul is why so many celebs envy or even hate her.

Maid in Manhattan was great because it is about the American Dream and many people who have struggled and made it can relate.

Mr. Morgan and Lisa Kudrow are rumored to be in this movie… another one that was put on the
back burner…Mel what is a triple threat? Gwyneth won her Oscar from Shakespear in Love …
a Miramax movie that had nothing to do with Steven Spielberg or her father…Let’s just face the truth
Jennifer Lopez has nothing coming out.. and Marc said she had three movies she is working on what
is the third one… Since she doesn’t have co stars in her other films ..

I like her better in romantic comedy roles anyway…although I find her ‘acting’ extremely forced and fake. I loved Wedding Planner and Maid in Manhattan though…good girly chick flicks. It’s kind of funny though that she’s playing someone who looks after kids when she probably never even looks after her own for more than one hour. She might actually have to change some nappies to get into character…heaven forbid!
