The new mom (she gave birth to her third son Ignatius barely three months ago) was among industry figures who braved the cold, wet conditions last night to attend the ceremony at Sydney’s Star City Casino.
Cate snubbed the red carpet, but Sydney Theatre Company’s boss lady was centre stage to present best new Australian work to Michael Gow’s Toy Symphony during the live broadcast. And while Gow received his fair share of applause and acknowledgement, it was Cate’s dramatic gown with plunging neckline that stole the show.
Motherhood truly is a beautiful thing!

blanchett, and winslet are not great actresses they get first dibs on major roles just because their married to directors/producers/writers, otherwise you wouldn’t know WHO they are……

Most of the directors in Hollywood want to work or have worked with Blanchett and you claim she is a bad actress. You can’t even grammatically put a sentence together and you’re talking about what someone can’t do.
Cate became a hit all on her own, it’s called talent.
