He may play characters of extraordinary strength and power on the big screen, but Gerard Butler is just another ordinary traveler when at the airport.
Photogs caught up with the hunky A-list actor going through LAX security yesterday after attending Comic-Con in San Diego, CA over the weekend to promote his new Guy Ritchie film RocknRolla.
After taking off his shoes, emptying his pockets and going through the metal dectector, Butler finally got the green light as tried to make his way home.
Meanwhile, Gerard has reportedly given the comic book geeks the seal of approval after they passed up the chance to claim his watch and glasses as souvenirs.
While at the convention, the Scotsman suddenly realized his expensive timepiece and sunglasses were missing. At first he believed rabid comic book fans had picked up a couple of extra souvenirs — at his expense. He says, “It was madness… I was signing posters and my watch kept catching on them, so I took it off and put it between my legs and then walked off. And then I thought someone stole my sunglasses.”
But Mr. Butler didn’t take comic book fans’ code of conduct into account — the items were turned in to event security by fans. He adds, “This place is great.”

He kicks ass as an actor and seems like an easy going nice guy and he is totally hot. Loves it!!

Going through the airport these days really sucks…at least he seems to have a good attitude about which is not easy.
