Jessica Simpson intended to awe but managed to shock in a below knee length charcoal Ikat print silk dress on a visit to a night spot in the Flatiron District, NYC, with friends last night.
She paired the dress with matching colour gladiators revealing her fuchsia toes. She used a natural look make up and her two tone blond hair was swept up on top with the long wavy tresses falling over her shoulders.
Jessica’s attire, a cross between a cocktail dress and a gown, did well to accentuate her well groomed feet and gladiator footwear but made her look formless and stocky.
Though she is a fashion designer, Jessica’s sartorial sense has been suspect. So far she has confined her creativity to designing footwear and handbags, and has done pretty well.
In Spring 2009 she plans to launch a contemporary line of dresses. Let’s hope she has some better luck!

Calling this dumb twat a fashion designer is an insult to all the great designers everywhere! She looks horrible here. Her clothing line will fail just like everything else she touches - why not take your money and GO AWAY? You suck!

awful makeup. that lipstick colour makes her look dead. and is she hiding a little bit of a belly there? hmm…whats with that?

She’s no fashion designer or designer of ANYTHING.Joe just sells her name for companies to put on their product.

She has a rough face and it really shows when she wears a lot of make up.

Besides the dress, I think she’s looking awesome. I love her makeup here. The dress really isn’t that bad, but I hope her designs are better than this!
