For the second consecutive day, Paris Hilton dominated the Hot Topics segment on ‘The View’ today.
Christian crusader Elisabeth Hasselbeck joked, “It’s funny how jailbirds and porn stars always say, ‘Oh God,’” before defending Hilton’s recent bible-reading binge. Meanwhile, funnygal Joy Behar wisecracked about Hilton’s likening prison to being in a cage: “Duh, you are in a cage.” Touchee.
And for curiosity’s sake, co-host Barbara Walters, who appears to have become the Hilton mouthpiece while Paris is in the slammer, asked the visiting wife of the United Nations secretary general if her compatriots knew of Hilton’s situation. Sadly, the answer was affirmative.
Later, the gals couldn’t resist asking guest Judge Judy for her take on Paris’ new ‘tude. “Instead of bringing this spiritual books, she would have been smart to bring in a newspaper.”
Call it a case of extreme irony that Judge Judy was there to promote a book called ‘Beauty Fades, Dumb is Forever.’

OMG OMG OMG, when did she even attempt to read “The art of war”? What’s wrong with her? You are not smart honeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, and Don’t even dare to act like it..
And yes Paris, you are in a cage. That’s where birds usually go!

on what purpose could this photo have been taken? everybody knows she’s still on the “hello kitty” level when it comes to interests in literature - maybe she uses sun tzu to roll her ‘cigarettes’ or wipe her ass.

And I freaking hate barbara Walters. She is such a kiss-ass, annoying beotch.
I hope Paris gets her head out of her ass. I’ve always doubted she was as big of an idiot as she portrayed but damn that’s a long road to go down.

Barbara Walters in only repeating what she has heard from her Kathy and Paris. I think she is doing a fantastic job at stayed unbiased throughout the issue, it would be hard not to just take Paris’s side in the case of keeping her friendship with Kathy. And I love Joy!! If she ever leaves the View I will be crushed! While everyone else gets all serious about things she is always there to throw in a joke or something and ligthen things up….love her!

I would have loved to have seen Paris in Judge Judy’s court! She a firecracker … and I think she has more $$$ than Paris. Although I do respect Paris’ judge. Some people cannot be bought.
