The upcoming issue of Us Weekly claims that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins were the result of in vitro fertilization and not the result of some good old-fashioned whoopie.
The chance of having fraternal twins at Angelina’s age (33) naturally is under 1 percent; with in vitro, the chances are 25 percent.
There are many medical details and statistics about the procedure. We do not think that we needed to know these things.

This story is full of crap and i have you know that twins run on both their sides of the family (Anon 10:04) but only the mothers side counts and angie has a female cousin who has twins and her mother’s brothers are twins so give me a break Us Magazine maybe you should have done your homework and i hope they sue. Lol @ people who believe anything written by Us magazine especailly since they have been wrong constantly (hello she’s not having twins and jessica and tony split lol) and can’t get anyone on the cover besides heidi and spencer and reality stars babies Lol. Us mag really does have some readers that will believe anything.

this didn’t occur to anyone before??? she was reed thin, and depressed (all knock out punches to getting preggars) and as i’ve said before…she’s a collector! one day it will become evident that, even though she is giving these children a potentially wonderful life, the main purpose (other than to hold onto her stolen man) is to surround herself with people (either around her or growing IN her) that have to love her. she’s a cutter, and a self hating depressive…her children give her great solace and comfort…let’s hope she winds up giving at least as much as she gets…then no one gets hurt. her father was correct when he recounted the seriousness of her mental illness…people have children for all sorts of reasons…this is probably not the worst of them…but in vitro…why not? the wealthy can control almost everything else around them…why not the speed and quantitly of their reproduction??

All of them get IVF, just think about all the celebrities with twins. Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Dennis Quaid, Jenifer Lopez, Jane Seymour….the list goes on and on I’m sure. But how many have triplets, quads or quints? Zero, which makes you wonder how many are selectively reducing aka aborting their babies.

I had fraternal twins at age 30….with no in vitro. They say that there is a HIGHER chance of having twins for a woman in her 30’s…so I dont know where you get that info.
My mothers father was a fraternal twin though…so yeah, they ran in my family. It normally skips a generation…the gene goes dormant every other generation.
They are merely speculating that AJ had in vitro….they dont know for sure.

i suspect that J-Lo had in vitro merely because she went for so long without getting pregnant, yet she was always saying in interviews that she was trying for babies. As for AJ…she had already had a baby, so I doubt very much she needed in vitro….UNLESS she was having trouble concieving…she was super duper skinny and might have been having trouble.

This is such bullshit. There is no reason why a healthy, fertile 32 yr. old woman would need in-vitro. I’m just never going to believe that every single woman in Hollywood has had in-vitro just because she had twins. Most women get pregnant with more than 2 kids with IVF so we’d have to assume that most of these women are aborting the other fetuses, right? And as far as J. Lo is concerned, why assume that she had IVF because she didn’t get knocked up immediately? Some people actually like being married before kids come into the picture, you know. She’d only been married 3 years when she got pregnant. And besides, who really cares how these women get pregnant???????

Yes there are. All googleable. And sometimes ppl choose IVF b/c of issues on the father’s side (i.e., low sperm count).

The real reason for the IVF was they didn’t want to risk another Shiloh fiasco. You know, a baby that looks like hideous Angelina. They used donor eggs and Brad’s exquisite sprem and (hopefully) they’ll have a more attractive results this time around cutting Angelina out of the picture for all but the “carrying” part of it.
Another reason is that to give the little bastards a fighting chance they decided to spare it the toxic waste that is Angelina’s nasty womb.

Who cares if it was In-vitro! That is their own business! The tabloids really take it too far sometimes and I think they are out of line to speculate things like this. Some of the comments on here are just mean and nasty. Saying horrible things about people’s little innocent children is too much. Pick on Brad and Ange if you must, but leave the kids out of it.
