Devendra Banhart isn’t wasting any time enlisting girlfriend Natalie Portman in his latest project.
In the folk rocker’s new Bollywood-inspired music video for his latest single, Carmensita, Natalie plays the role of a princess whom Devendra must save with his “rebellious beard.”
Uhh…you gotta watch it to understand it.
Enjoy!

How stooopid
They actually met when he cast her in that video and started dating after…..
not the other way around.
So she didn’t get the part by sleeping with him, LOL.
Pure Crap!!! Both of them.
That was a waste of time. He is butt ass ugly and she is perfection.
Joe that is the stuidest thing I have ever heard. Natalie Portman works with George Lucas and steven spielberg so I don t think he cast her before having a relationship with her.
I think it’s funny.
I enjoyed it! Fun & creative!
I like the song, although the last bit went on too long. I didn’t care for the video though… a little too silly, even for me :o).
I wonder what the Hindu community will think? Maybe the point is to create controversy - I mean - publicity. It seems that it could be considered quite offensive.
That was the dumbest thing I’ve seen & heard in a very long time. And YES, I am offended!!!! For someone whose a foreigner & have lived in India, this was just a disgrace and like someone said earlier—- a waste of time.
OMFG. I am beyond embarrassed for her. WHY would she be in this UTTER piece of CRAP??????? What a piece of shit.
AWESOMENESS!
how nice when it only speaks to those that know…
Offensive? HAHHAHAHHA, en el sol, en el sol en el sol!
I hate it. Crap. I can’t believe it was financed. ( who wouldn’t when there is portman, right?) She must really love this weirdo to do this shit.
