Just days after lawyers announced the singer’s ex-husband Kevin Federline had won sole custody of their two sons, an emotionless Britney soothed her broken heart with some new designer clothes.
Rocking jeans, a turquoise tank top and brown leather boots, the popstress bypassed photogs and their neverending line of questions, but did offer a simple thank you when one wise snapper showered her with compliments.
Meanwhile, after a rocky start to 2008, which saw the singer hospitalized twice for psychiatric evaluation, Britney has been spending increasing amounts of time at home with her family at her Hollywood Hills mansion. On Sunday, Britney enjoyed quality time with her two boys in the Los Angeles sunshine.

Can she afford a lasik operation and a good dermatologist? She is not looking good. Sad to say, but she lost her shine.

Boy, she needs professional intervention from a stylist….hair, clothes, skin, EVERYTHING. I agree with Sandie - she lost the shine that she used to have.

It’s not what she’s wearing, it’s everything *above* the neck . She just looks dirty. And yes, those nails are horrocious. Manicures like this are the sign of pure trashitude.

Why does she not wash her greasy extensions? Why doesn’t she give UP the extensions and let her own hair rest and grow? And the acne around her mouth looks almost like contact dermatitis…one would think that the people around her would get a her a wireless headset so she doesn’t touch her face with ANYTHING AT ALL.

The thing with Britney is she has never piled on the makeup when she’s not working or attending an event. She keeps it very natural on her days off, even when her skin is not so great. I kind of admire the fact that she doesn’t feel pressured to look red carpet ready every time she steps out of the house. I know that I wouldn’t be the same if I were in her position. I would be afraid that the paps would get a not so perfect photo of me like this one here of Brit. She doesn’t look too bad in my opinion
